Mr. G.S. Sandhu, Advocate for respondents no. 2 and 3. *** Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the matter has since been compromised between the parties. Learned counsel for respondents no. 2 and 3 concede this fact stating that he has no objection if petition for pre arrest bail filed by the present petitioner is accepted.
Learned State counsel also submits that as the matter has been compromised between the parties and the petitioner has joined the investigation and recovery has been effected from him, he is no longer required by the local police for further investigation.
Under such circumstances, the interim bail granted to the petitioner on 27.4.2017 is made absolute, subject to his fulfilling conditions under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
The petition stands allowed accordingly.
