(ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is for issuance of directions to official respondents to conclude the enquiry and submit final report before the trial Court in case FIR No. 57 dated 09.12.2017 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 354-A, 506, 376 and 511 IPC at Women Police Station, Panchkula, in a time bound manner.

Status report dated 14.03.2024 filed by way of affidavit of Sh. Manpreet Singh, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Crime), Panchkula, on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3, is taken on record. A copy thereof, has been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the State refers to para 5 of the status report wherein it has been mentioned that after completion of investigation, the police has presented cancellation report in the matter RISHU KATARIA 2024.03.23 12:39 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.

CRM-M-10449-2024 -22024:PHHC:041438 before the learned Illaqa Magistrate, whereupon the learned Illaqa Magistrate, issued notice to the complainant. In pursuance thereto, father of the complainant, namely, Vijay Kumar, appeared before the learned Illaqa Magistrate and submitted that the complainant herself is currently residing in Canada and had prayed for some time which was granted by the learned Illaqa Magistrate. Statement of the father of the complainant in this regard is appended with the status report as Annexure R-1.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has not disputed the aforesaid submissions of learned counsel for the State In view above, the only prayer made in the present petition is for conclusion of investigation and the same has been redressed, therefore, no further direction is required to be issued in the present case.
