Main case It is not in dispute between the parties that there is refixation of pay of the petitioners and consequent order of recovery without granting them an opportunity of hearing.

Ranjodh Singh, Superintendent GradeI, Office of Director, Horticulture, Punjab, the learned counsel representing the State of Punjab submits that he has no objection if the competent authority is directed to hear the petitioner before proceeding further. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the writ petitions are disposed of while directing the competent authority i.e. Director, Department of Horticulture to grant opportunity of hearing to the petitioners before proceeding further.

The petitioners are directed to appear before the competent authority on 12.05.2023.

All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, are also disposed of.
