SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Affidavit of petitioner No.1 filed today in Court, which is taken on record.
Learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioners have filed this petition seeking protection of their life and liberty alleging that petitioner No.2-Amandeep Kaur, who is major, has married petitioner No.1Manpreet Singh, who is below 21 years of age, against the wishes of respondents No.4 & 5, who are parents of petitioner No. 2. Apprehending danger to their life and liberty, they moved representation dated 22.04.2017 (Annexure P-4) to Superintendent of Police, Fatehabad. He confines the relief claimed in this petition for direction to respondent No. 2 to look into the representation of petitioners and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
In view of above submission of learned counsel for petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Fatehabad to look into the representation dated 22.04.2017 Sachin Mehta 2017.04.26 17:28 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document HIGH COURT, CHANDIGARH
