Petitioner seeks a direction to respondents to afford the concession of parole to petitioner for a period of ten (10) weeks. 2.

It is submitted that application dated 15.01.2024, Annexure P-1, was submitted by petitioner before respondent no.4, but necessary action is not being taken by the competent authority.

Learned counsel for respondent-State, on instructions from the Jail Superintendent, Karnal, submits that this application has never been received.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances as above, this petition is disposed of with a direction that present writ petition be treated as an application on behalf of petitioner seeking parole and the same be decided by competent authority within four weeks from receipt of certified copy of this order.
