(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuing direction to the official respondents to take appropriate action on the representation dated 09.2.2024 (Annexure P-1) submitted to respondent No.2. Learned counsel for the petitioner at this stage limits his prayer and submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if direction is issued to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur, to consider and take a final decision on representation dated 09.2.2024 (Annexure P-1) made by the petitioner in a time bound manner. Notice of motion.

Mr. Kunwarbir Singh, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State and submits that he has no objection in case the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner at this stage, is accepted.

2024:PHHC:027773 CRM-M-10565-2024 After hearing learned counsel for the parties, without going into the merits of the present petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur, to forthwith consider the grievance raised by the petitioner in the aforesaid representation and take action thereupon as he/she deems fit, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
