ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition, received by post, is that in the FIR registered under Sections 307, 323, 148 and 149 IPC, no accused persons has been arrested.

Status report by way of affidavit of Harinder Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, City Ferozepur has already been filed and as per this affidavit, one FIR No.197 dated 20.06.2014 under Sections 302, 323, 148, 149, 120-B IPC and 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act at Police Station Sadar Ferozepur was registered against 12 persons including the petitioner and they were arrested and challan has been presented against them. Similarly, in the cross-version registered under Section 307 (regarding which the present petition has been received by post) it is stated that a Special Investigating Team has conducted the enquiry of version and cross-version and in the cross-version also, 02 persons were arrested and challan has already been presented against them. It is further submitted that the trial of the version as well as the cross-version is now pending in the Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Ferozepur and the parties are facing the trial. In view of the above, no further action is required. Disposed of.
