Mr. Amit Rana, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab. MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking the concession of anticipatory bail in FIR No.67 dated 14.03.2024 under Sections 452, 323, 325, 148, 149, 459 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Sadar Mansa.

Vide order dated 18.02.2025, the petitioner had been granted interim anticipatory bail with direction to join investigation and the relevant part of the said order reads as under:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner's false implication in the present case is evident from the fact that he was not named in the FIR in question; he came to be nominated as an accused in a disclosure statement allegedly suffered by co-accused Manmohan Singh alias Mohna Singh, who claimed that the petitioner was also accompanying him at the time of the alleged occurrence and was armed with an iron rod with which he inflicted a blow on the complainant's leg."

CRM-M-9398-2025 -2joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating agency. He, on further instructions, submits that the petitioner is not required for further investigation much less for his custodial interrogation. 4.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 18.02.2025, is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C./482(2) BNSS.
