IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH.

CWP No.3455 of 1999 Date of Decision : 14.1.2015 Jai Krishan ......Petitioner Vs.

State of Haryana and others ......Respondents ...

CORAM :

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK ...

Present :

Mr. Vimal Singh, Advocate for Mr. S.P. Laler, Advocate for the petitioner.

Mr. Ashok Chaudhary, Addl. A.G., Haryana.

Mr. S.K. Monga, Advocate for respondent no.3. ...

1. To be referred to the Reporter or not ?

2. Whether the judgement should be reported in Digest ? RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK, J Learned counsel for respondent no.3-the only contesting respondent, at the very outset, fairly states that in compliance of the order dated 17.4.2001 passed by the Division Bench of this court granting status quo regarding the services of the petitioner, petitioner continued with respondent no.3. During pendency of the writ petition, petitioner retired from service after attaining the age of superannuation on 30.11.2006 rendering the present writ petition as infructuous and the same may be disposed of, as such. Faced with the above, learned counsel for the petitioner could not dispute the correctness of the statement made on behalf of respondent no.3. In view of the above, present writ petition is ordered to be disposed of, as having been rendered infructuous.

14.1.2015 (RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK) GS JUDGE GREESH SAHNI 2015.01.15 16:42 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
