***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Petitioner was working as a Resource person in Punjabi Department of Government College, Phase-VI, Mohali, District SAS Nagar-respondent No.3. On 22.10.2018, the College issued an advertisement/published in newspaper 'The Tribune' for holding walk-ininterview for Guest Faculty in various subjects for the Sessions 2018-19 including two posts of Punjabi.

Petitioner's grievance is that though she appeared in the interview for the Punjabi Guest Faculty and was in the merit list but she has not been selected. According to learned counsel for the petitioner, the authorities even ignored the fact that she earlier worked as a Resource person. However, on a query being put to learned counsel whether petitioner has any right to be appointed in the Guest Faculty, no clear answer is forthcoming. His only plea is that selection is arbitrary and, thus, violative of Article 14 of the Constitution.

This court does not find any merit in the plea. It is evident that selection committee was constituted which conducted the interviews. On SUKHPREET KAUR 2019.03.01 17:53 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

that basis, selection was made. This court is not inclined to examine the selection process undertaken by an expert body. Petition is, thus, without any merit and is hereby dismissed.
