(Oral) Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of a direction to respondent Nos.2 to 4 to immediately restore the security/police protection provided to the petitioner, since there is imminent threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of the accused persons named in the murder case/FIR No.0133 dated 02.07.2024, under Sections 103, 3(5) of BNS, registered at Police Station Ajnala, Police District Amritsar Rural, Punjab. During course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner had moved a representation dated 24.01.2025 (Annexure P-9) before respondent No.4, but no action on the same has been taken till date and he would be satisfied, if respondent No.4 is directed to look into and decide the said representation. Notice of motion.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4, to look into the aforesaid representation and decide the same within 06 weeks, and to take appropriate steps as per law, if any required, regarding threat perception. Disposed of.
