***** RAJAN GUPTA , J. (Oral) Joint affidavit of the appellant-husband Lakhbir Singh as well as respondent No.1-wife Sukhbir Kaur has been filed in court today. According to the same, they have decided to part ways and pray that the marriage be dissolved by a decree of divorce under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (for short 'the Act'). Learned counsel for the appellant submits that he may be allowed to withdraw the present appeal with liberty to move a petition under Section 13-B of the Act before the appropriate court in light of affidavit dated 09.09.2019.

In view of the above, this appeal is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid. Parties shall be at liberty to seek waiver of SUKHPREET KAUR 2019.09.12 16:55 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
