******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Status report by way of affidavit of Deputy Commissioner, Kaithal filed by learned State counsel is taken on record. As per status report, five out of seven encroachments have already been removed and with regard to two encroachments mentioned at serial no. 1 and 4 of para 2, proceedings under Public Premises and Land (Eviction and Rent Recovery) Act, 1972 have been instituted, which are pending.

In view of status report filed by learned State counsel, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent to take further action for removal of remaining encroachments within a reasonable period on decision of proceedings under Public Premises and Land (Eviction and Rent Recovery) Act. In the event of action being not taken, the petitioner shall be at liberty to seek revival of this petition or to file fresh one, as desired.
