Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that FIR No. 22 dated 13.03.2017 was registered for offence punishable under Section 304 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code against respondent No. 4 for the death of son (Shamsher Singh) of petitioner. Representation (Annexure P-2) to this effect was given to the police by the petitioner, but no action has been taken.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural) to look into the representation made by petitioner Annexure P-2 and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
