SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioners have filed this petition seeking protection of their life and liberty alleging that petitioner No.1-Laxmi, who is major, has married petitioner No.2-Sahil, who is below 21 years of age, against the wishes of respondents No. 4 to 6, who are parents and relative of petitioner No. 1. Apprehending danger to their lives and liberty, petitioner No.1 moved representation dated 21.04.2017 (Annexure P-5) to Superintendent of Police, Sirsa. He confines the relief claimed in this petition for direction to respondent No. 2 to look into the representation of petitioners and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

In view of the submission of learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of marriage of petitioners, petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Sirsa to look into representation dated 21.04.2017 (Annexure P-5) and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of copy of this Sachin Mehta 2017.04.27 17:09 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document HIGH COURT, CHANDIGARH
