By way of the present petition filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, (for short 'the BNSS') the petitioner is seeking regular bail in case bearing FIR No.112 dated 04.08.2025 under Sections 115(2), 118(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short 'the BNS'), (subsequently added Sections 118(2) and 117(2) of the BNS vide G.D. No.21 dated 10.08.2025) (Section 3(5) of the BNS added later on and Sections 190 and 191(3) deleted later on, vide order dated 21.05.2026) registered at Police Station Balachaur, District S.B.S. Nagar. 2.

In the present matter, a compromise has been effected between the parties. Petitioner along with co-accused has approached this Court by way of filing a petition bearing CRM-M-13884-2026 titled as 'Manpreet and others vs. State of Punjab and others' for quashing of present FIR on the basis of compromise dated 31.01.2026 (Annexure P-3), which has been allowed vide order of even date.

In view of the above, present petition stands disposed of as having been rendered as infructuous.

The trial court/Chief Judicial Magistrate concerned is directed to issue release warrants of the petitioner forthwith, and he be released if not required in any other case.
