Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Sarabjit Singh, has stated that local police has recorded the statements of private respondents No. 3 to 6, wherein they stated that they have no objection to the marriage between the petitioners. None is present on behalf of the petitioners in Court today. Therefore, in view of the statement made by the State counsel and the fact that the petitioners are not present in the Court either in person or through counsel or any other authorized agent, no further action in the matter is called for and the petition is dismissed accordingly.
