(proceedings conducted through video conferencing) ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that although serious offences under Sections 308 and 326 IPC have also been added in DDR No.25 dated 23.6.2020 registered at Police Station Sohana, District SAS Nagar, Mohali under Sections 323, 324, 325, 148 and 149 of Indian Penal Code, which was recorded at the instance of the petitioner, in FIR No. 210 dated 22.6.2020 registered at Police Station Sohana, District SAS Nagar, Mohali under Sections 323, 341, 506, 452, 354, 294, 148 and 149 of Indian Penal Code, but the police is not taking any necessary action and is helping the opposite side. It has been submitted that despite an offence under Section PANKAJ KAKKAR 2021.03.17 13:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

( 2 ) CRM-M-12222-2021 (O&M) 308 IPC having been added, none of the accused as arrayed in the DDR, has been arrested so far.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards merits of the case or as regards averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali to look into the matter and to ensure that the matter pertaining to DDR No.25 dated 23.6.2020 registered at Police Station Sohana, District SAS Nagar, Mohali under Sections 323, 324, 325, 148 and 149 of Indian Penal Code, wherein offences under Sections 308 and 326 IPC were added later on in FIR No. 210 dated 22.6.2020 registered at Police Station Sohana, District SAS Nagar, Mohali under Sections 323, 341, 506, 452, 354, 294, 148 and 149 of Indian Penal Code, is got investigated expeditiously in accordance with law, so that a final report is submitted thereafter at the earliest.
