Mr.Kirat Singh Sidhu,DAG Punjab assisted by HC Sajjan Singh Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail on behalf of accused petitioner-Bimla Devi in case FIR No.187 dated 20.11.2012 under Sections 406,409,420,467,468,471,474,120-B,34 IPC, PS Ateli,Distt. Mahendergarh. As per allegations petitioner accused alongwith her co-accused husband,stated to be Postal Agents, in connivance with five other named coaccused, who are officials of the Postal Department, mis-appropriated huge amount of money of the investors in the Kisan Vikas Patra Scheme by opening fake accounts and withdrawing the deposited amounts on maturity. It was submitted that on surfacing of said allegations her husband-Manphool Singh committed suicide.

It was contended that petitioner is 68 years old house wife and is sought to be implicated merely because her husband is no longer available who was actively engaged in the vocation of Postal Agent. It was next contended that all the co-accused have been granted the concession of RAJINDER PRASHAD JOSHI 2016.05.20 11:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M 15457/2016 anticipatory bail.

Vide interim order dated 6.5.2016, petitioner was directed to join investigation and interim bail was granted to her. At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has joined investigation and fully cooperated. Learned State counsel on instructions submits that petitioner has joined investigation and her custodial interrogation is no longer required.

In view of the above,interim bail granted vide order dated 6.5.2016 is made absolute.
