Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.82 dated 11.10.2013,PS Baretta,Distt.Mansa under Sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act.

There is alleged recovery of 1,15,200 tablets of Alprazolam from the petitioner and his co-accused while driving in a car. Petitioner is stated to have been granted default bail vide order dated 8.7.2014 under Section 167(2)Cr.PC for non-presentation of the challan within the stipulated period of 180 days. For the absence of the petitioner on 22.3.2016 his bail bonds have been cancelled and NBWs issued. Solitary absence is ascribed to wrong noting of the date of hearing. After arguing for sometime,learned counsel seeks permission to withdraw the present petition to enable the petitioner to surrender and thereafter seek regular bail.
