(Oral) This petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent department to promote the petitioner to the post of TGT Sanskrit with effect from 01.03.2019, the date other JBT Teachers have been promoted, with all consequential benefits; and to decide the representation dated 04.10.2023, Annexure P-2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before the respondents. At this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent No.2 is directed to decide the pending representation, dated 04.10.2023, Annexure P-2, in a specified period.
