***** VIKAS BAHL, J (ORAL) This is a civil writ petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the official respondents to decide the representation dated 09.05.2022 (Annexure P-1) given to the Director General of Police, Punjab, Chandigarh.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file appropriate petition in accordance with law.

In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
