NARESH KUMAR SANGHI, J (Oral) Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 439, Cr.P.C., is for grant of bail to the petitioner, Kulwant Singh, son of Shankar Singh, resident of village Patti Multani, Police Station, Sadar, Jagraon, District Ludhiana, who has been booked for having committed the offence punishable under Section 15 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in a case arising out of FIR No. 150, dated 12.7.2012, registered at Police Station, Sadar, Jagraon, District Ludhiana.

CRM-M-14539-2015 arrested at the spot and there is no other evidence to connect him with the alleged offence.
On the other hand, learned counsel for the State submits that while patrolling, the police party saw the petitioner sitting over the bags containing 90 Kilograms of poppy husk and thereafter he ran away leaving behind the contraband. He further submits that out of eight, six prosecution witnesses have already been examined and the petitioner has already been convicted in one case arising out of NDPS Act.
After hearing learned counsel for the parties and perusing the material available on record, no ground for grant of bail to the petitioner is made out.
Dismissed.
