Ram Dia v. Ishwar Chand
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH IOIN-1-RSA-4478-2002 & RSA No. 4478 of 2002 (O&M) DATE OF DECISION :- 04.11.2025 Ram Dia (since deceased) through LRs ...Appellant
Versus
Ishwar Chand (since deceased) through LRs and others
...Respondent
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIRINDER AGGARWAL Present:- Ms. Nandita Verma, Advocate for the appellant. Ms. Pooja Sareen, Advocate for the respondent. *** VIRINDER AGGARWAL , J. (Oral) 1.
Learned counsel appearing for the appellant submits that she has no instructions from the LRs of the appellant to appear on their behalf and no response has been received till today. It seems that LRs of the appellant are not interested in pursuing the instant appeal.
2.
In view of the above, the main case is taken up on Board today itself. 3.
In view of the above and given the prevailing circumstances, there seems to be no justification to keep the appeal on the docket, indefinitely. Accordingly, the instant appeal stands dismissed for want of prosecution with liberty to the LRs of the appellant to revive the same, if have any grievance from this order, within a period of three months from today. 4.
Since the main appeal stands decided, the miscellaneous application(s), if any, stand disposed of accordingly.
