Petitioner has posed a challenge to allotment of petrol pump to respondent no. 4. At the outset, learned counsel appearing for the Corporation submits that the outlet was commissioned more than a decade ago. It is now being run by respondent no. 6. According to him, due to lapse of time, no cause of action survives in this petition. This court finds substance in plea of counsel for the Corporation. Besides, petitioner posed a challenge to allotment of retail outlet to respondent no. 4. During the pendency of petition, it changed hands and is being run by respondent no. 6. There is no challenge to the outlet being run by respondent no. 6 in this petition.

Under the circumstances, this petition has been rendered infructuous and is dismissed as such.
