(ORAL) Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of the respondent authorities, petitioner has approached this Court by way of instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking appropriate direction. Notice of motion was issued and pursuant thereto, reply was filed on behalf of respondent-State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that let present petition be disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana-respondent No.2 within a period of one week from today by moving an appropriate representation and he may be directed to be consider and decide the same, at an early date. Faced with the above, learned counsel for the State as well as learned counsel for respondents No. 4 to 7 submit that they have got no objection if the present petition is disposed of with appropriate directions to the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana-respondent No.2. CRM-M-17448 of 2015 In view of the above and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, lest it should prejudice the rights of either of the parties, present petition is disposed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana-respondent No.2 within a period of one week from today by moving a comprehensive representation. The Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana-respondent No.2 is directed that on receipt of representation from the petitioner, he shall consider and decide the same at an early date by passing an appropriate order thereon, strictly in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of representation from the petitioner. The Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana-respondent No.

2 is further directed to ensure that no harm is caused to life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondents No. 3 to 8 or anybody else on their behalf. He shall call the petitioner if necessity arises to verify and satisfy himself that she is not put to wholly unwarranted harassment by any of the respondents out of respondents No. 3 to 8. Thereafter, he shall file his own affidavit along with action taken report before this Court within a period of three weeks thereafter.

Disposed of, accordingly.
