RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) CM-7480-CWP-2024 For the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed. Annexures A-1 and A-2 are taken on record. CM-7481-CWP-2024 Instant application has been filed praying to withdraw the main petition at this stage in view of letter dated 25.04.2024, written by respondent/authorities and by granting liberty to the petitioner to approach this Court again, if need arises.

Notice of the application be issued to the non-applicants. On asking of the Court, Mr.Navneet Singh, Sr.DAG, Punjab,

-2who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of respondents/State whereas Mr.Yogender Verma, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.2 and submit that they have no objection if application is allowed.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties and going through the application, the same is allowed. Main case is preponed and taken up on Board today itself.

CWP-4269-2023 Petitioners have approached this Court praying for quashing of impugned orders, dated 11.08.2017, 29.03.2022, Annexures P-12 and P26, and consequently all other related notices/orders passed prior thereto as contained in Notices/Orders dated 22.01.2016, 01.02.2016, 14.01.2016, 29.01.2016, 18.02.2016, Annexures P-6 to P-10, being contrary to their own decision, i.e. Resolution No.110, dated 31.07.2006, Annexure P-3 as also contained in Resolution No.76 of 08.08.2016, Annexure P-1 and further the same is also liable tobe set aside in view of the decision of respondent No.2Director Local Bodies taken vide letter dated 16.01.2020, Annexure P-17, and the report of the respondent-Trust vide letter dated 16.03.2020, Annexure P-19, passed in pursuance to the directions dated 04.09.

2019 passed by this Hon'ble High Court in CWP-24297-2019. It is further prayed to direct the respondent/authorities to grant approval of the petitioners in terms of the similar benefits granted to similarly situated persons as stated in the writ petition as the impugned decision and action of the respondent/authorities is a result of total misinterpretation of letter dated 21.12.2016, Annexure P-5.

-3In view of the prayer made in CM-7481-CWP-2024, wherein the petitioner has prayed for withdrawal of the petition in view of letter dated 25.04.2024, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file afresh if need arises.
