Through the instant petition, prayer is made for issuance of mandamus upon respondent no. 4 to pass final order in a petition preferred by the petitioner under Section 37(4) HRRS Act, 2012. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter-alia, submits that the aforesaid petition is pending since 23.5.2024, and till date no decision has been taken. He further submits that now the respondent no. 4 has fixed the date of hearing on 18.3.2025, therefore, he prays that mandamus may be passed upon respondent no. 4 to decide the petition in a time bound manner.

Since a bonafide, and innocuous prayer has been made, only for issuance of direction for deciding the petition on merits, this Court deems it appropriate to pass such mandamus without waiting for the response from the respondents. Therefore, the instant petition is disposed of with a mandamus upon respondent no. 4 to decide the petition (supra) within two months from the receipt of certified copy of this order. 6.

Disposed of accordingly.
