The instant petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.68 dated 28.05.2019 registered under Section 363 IPC (Sections 366, 376(2) IPC and Section 6 of POCSO Act added later on) at Police Station Sector 19, Chandigarh.

Counsel for the petitioner would contend that pursuant to the order dated 27.07.2020, the petitioner had been admitted to interim bail for POONAM BHATT 2021.09.07 17:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRM-M No.8980 of 2020 (O&M) -2a period of one month, consequent to which he has solemnized marriage with the daughter of the complainant on 15.02.2021. It is also submitted that a compromise has already been effected between the parties and pursuant to the said compromise, a petition for quashing of the FIR has already been filed bearing CRM-M No.2601 of 2020 and the statements have been recorded therein.

Learned counsel appearing for the complainant admits to the factum of solemnization of marriage of the petitioner and the prosecutrix and submits that the complainant has no objection in case the order dated 27.07.2020 granting interim bail to the petitioner is confirmed. 5.
In view of the fact that marriage between daughter of the complainant and the petitioner herein has been solemnized and a petition for quashing of the FIR has been preferred on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties, in which statements of the parties have already been recorded, the instant petition is allowed and the order dated 27.07.2020 granting interim bail to the petitioner is confirmed.
