Mr. Nonish Kumar, Advocate for respondents no. 4 to 8, R.P. Nagrath, J. (Oral) Prayer made in the instant petition is under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for a direction to respondents no. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners with a further prayer for issuance of directions to respondents no. 4 to 8 not to interfere in the life and liberty of petitioners or harass them in any manner. Prayer is also made for issuance of direction to official respondents not to harass the family members of petitioner no. 1.

Learned State counsel has filed the reply by way of affidavit of Superintendent of Police, Karnal and the same be taken on record.

Learned counsel for respondents no. 4 to 8 submits that respondents have not extended any threat to the life and liberty of the petitioners. It is further submitted that respondent no. 4 is JITENDER KUMAR 2015.05.29 17:05 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

On the previous date while issuing notice of motion, petitioners were sent to Safe Home, Karnal.

In view of the above, no further indulgence of this Court is required as there is no threat perception to the life and liberty of petitioners from private respondents. Therefore, Incharge, Safe Home, Karnal be directed to release the petitioners forthwith. The only other argument on behalf of private respondents is that father of Shikha-petitioner no. 2 wants to meet her.

It is directed that before taking the petitioners to Safe Home, Karnal, petitioner no. 2 would appear in the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court at 02.00 p.m. for enabling respondent no. 4 to meet his daughter. Learned counsel for private respondents is also directed to accompany respondent no. 4 in the Mediation and Conciliation Centre for the said purpose. The Mediator would allow the meeting for 10 to 15 minutes and thereafter, petitioners be sent to Safe Home, Karnal for being released by the Incharge, Safe Home.

Disposed of with the directions aforesaid.
