Through the instant petition, the petitioner has claimed the making of a mandamus, upon, the respondents concerned, to ensure the retrieval to his company of a girl, named, Sonu. It is averred in the petition, that since he had solemnized a valid marriage with one Sonu, thereupon, the latter's father held no valid right, to retain in his company his daughter, and, or the retention, by him, of one Sonu, rather being completely illegal. 2.

After notice of motion being given to the respondent - State, a detailed reply to the petition has been furnished by the respondents concerned.

Importantly, a perusal of Annexure R-1, appended with the reply, whereins becomes embodied a statement, made by a girl, named, Sonu, rather reveals, that she is without any coercion, being exercised, upon her, hence residing in the company of her father, and, that she has no relation whatsoever with the present petitioner, and, that she does not want to re-join DINESH KUMAR 2022.05.23 09:50 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

C.R.W.P. No. 2378 of 2022 (O&M) -2the company of the petitioner. The above made disclosure in Annexure R1, does completely repel(s), the averment made in the petition, that one Sonu is illegally detained by her father, and, or she is without her completest volition, rather through duress being exerted, upon her, hence residing with her father at her parental home.

In consequence, this Court finds no merit in the petition, and, the same is dismissed.

Since, the main case itself has been decided, therefore, no order is required to be passed in the pending application(s), if any, and, the same also stand(s) disposed of.
