(Oral) This is a petition filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking regular bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No.489 dated 23.12.2014 under Sections 379/420/467/468/471 and 472 and Sections 22/61/85 of NDPS Act at Police Station Civil Lines, District Amritsar City.

Vide order dated July 29, 2016, petitioner was directed to be released on interim bail.

According to learned State counsel, out of 56 witnesses cited by the prosecution, 05 have been examined till now. On instructions from SI Palwinder Singh, he submits that prosecution shall endeavour to examine its remaining witnesses as early as possible.

In view of the above, interim order dated July 29, 2016, whereby petitioner was granted interim bail is made absolute subject to the petitioner furnishing fresh bail bonds to the satisfaction of the trial court and subject to such terms and conditions as the trial court may deem fit to impose.
