(Oral) Prayer made in the instant petition is under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of direction to respondents no. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents no. 4 to 6. Prayer is also made for issuance of direction to official respondents not to harass the family members of petitioners.
Learned counsel for respondent no. 4 submits that respondent no. 4 has no objection to the matrimonial alliance of petitioners. It is further submitted that respondent no. 4 and other family members would not extend any threat to the life and liberty of petitioners. Respondent no. 4 is also stated to be present in person. Learned State counsel submits that as per reply there is no threat perception to the life and liberty of petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioners also submits that the instant petition may be disposed of accordingly. In view of the above, no further indulgence of this Court is required and the instant petition is disposed of as such. Incharge, Safe Home, Karnal be directed to release both the petitioners forthwith.
