(ORAL) Through instant petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.261 dated 05.11.2018 registered under Sections 420, 406 IPC at Police Station Civil Lines, Bathinda, District Bathinda.
Complainant in person has been heard.
Considering the allegations against the petitioner that he cheated the complainant for a huge sum and misused two cheques obtained by him from the complainant as a security for withdrawing committee in a money circulation scheme run by parents of the petitioner and submission of learned State counsel that petitioner is not co-operating in the investigation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Dismissed.
