RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for issuance of direction to learned Additional Sessions Judge, Yamuna Nagar at Jagadhri to decide appeal No.CRA-312-2017, titled as Pankaj Bhatia vs Ashwani, expeditiously, which is pending adjudication from the last five years.

This Court vide order dated 02.03.2023, after hearing counsel for the petitioner, directed the Judicial Officer to file report explaining the delay.

Report of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Yamuna Nagar at Jagadhri, dated 16.03.2023, has been received. After perusing the report, this Court finds that reasons for duly mentioned therein by learned Additional Sessions Judge is justified. However, taking into consideration the period for which appeal is pending, trial Court is requested to decide the same expeditiously.

Disposed of accordingly.
