The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of regular bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.107 dated 3.3.2021 at Police Station Division No.5, District Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana under Sections 323, 341, 379-B and 34 of Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has himself fairly apprised this Court that the instant petition has been filed directly in this Court without approaching the Court of Sessions as his client was constrained to do so since no counsel from amongst Ludhiana Bar Association is willing to appear for him as the complainant happens to be a practising Lawyer. Keeping in view the aforestated submission, it is directed that in case any application for grant of regular bail is filed before the Court of Sessions, it shall be ensured that the petitioner's counsel is afforded proper hearing through video conference.

The petitioner's counsel shall furnish his particulars so as to connect him through video conference. In case for any reason, the video conference cannot be held through the normal video conferencing software, the Trial Court shall explore the possibility of hearing arguments through video conference by way of video call through Whatsapp. 5.

Mr. H.S. Brar, Advocate has volunteered that he shall appear on behalf of the petitioner through video conference before the Court at Ludhiana to pursue the bail application on behalf of the petitioner. 6.
