(ORAL) The petitioners, in the instant petition, under section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, have sought quashing of FIR No.162 dated 19.12.2011 registered under sections 420/465/468/471/567 and 120-B IPC at Police Station Gharinda, District Amritsar City on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2).
In compliance of order dated 11.8.2016 passed by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court, report from Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Amritsar, vide forwarding letter dated 07.09.2016, has been received. According to the report submitted by Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Amritsar, compromise arrived at between the parties seems to be voluntarily and without any coercion or pressure.

CRM-M-15812-2016 2 In view of the above report and compromise (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties, the instant petition is allowed. Consequently, FIR No.162 dated 19.12.2011 registered under sections 420/465/468/471/567 and 120-B IPC at Police Station Gharinda, District Amritsar City, is quashed qua the petitioners only along with all consequential proceedings arising out therefrom. 04.8.2017 ( RAMENDRA JAIN ) VK JUDGE 1.
