Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioner for appointment to any suitable post on compassionate ground as his father died in harness.

At the outset, learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner, wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to pursue his remedy before the respondents.
