Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.136 dated 21.06.2018 registered under Sections 336, 458, 506, 148, 149, 427 IPC, Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, 1959 (Sections 343, 365, 379 IPC added later on) pertaining to Police Station City Kharar, SAS Nagar, Mohali, and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 02.02.2019 (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties.

Pursuant to order dated 28.02.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 24.04.2019 to get their statements recorded. Learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, RAVINDER SINGH 2019.05.14 13:37 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Kharar, has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.315 dated

-2CRM-M-9447 of 2019 25.04.2019 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, SAS Nagar, vide Endst. No.5061 dated 26.04.2019. According to the report, learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Kharar, is satisfied that compromise arrived at between the parties is voluntary and without any threat or any undue influence. No accused has been declared proclaimed offender. Considering the report of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Kharar, dated 25.04.2019 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.136 dated 21.06.2018 and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed.

Disposed of accordingly.
