Petitioner seeks the concession of anticipatory bail in FIR No.502 dated 23.12.2016 under Sections 498A/323/307/120B IPC registered at Police Station Sadar, Sonipat.

It is submitted that the petitioner's mother was granted the concession of anticipatory bail and the petitioner's father was afforded the benefit of regular bail. It is contended that there are no allegations attracting the rigors of Section 307 IPC therefore, this petition be allowed. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the file.

Specific allegations of demand of dowry, harassment and physical abuse have been raised against the petitioner in the FIR. CRM No.M-14950 of 2017 [2] 22.12.2016. He tried to strangulate her in order to kill her. The complainant fell unconscious. When she regained consciousness, some passersby helped her. The complainant called her home. Her younger brother and paternal uncle came to the spot. The complainant was admitted in the Government Hospital, Sonipat and thereafter to Cygnus Hospital, Factory Area, Sonipat for treatment. There is a mention of four injuries on the person of the complainant including injury on the neck.

Keeping in view the specific allegations against the petitioner, I do not find any ground to afford the benefit of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
