Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.29 dated 23.03.2017 under Sections 420 and 409 IPC, registered at Police Station Bareta, District Mansa.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

From the record, I find that FIR in the present case has been registered on the basis of resolution dated 15.03.2017 passed by Lashman Ram, Administrator, The Kulrian Multi Purpose Cooperative Agricultural Service Society Ltd. As per the FIR, present petitioner was salesman in the Society and during his duty, he has misused his post and committed irregularities in the stocks of the society amounting to `5,29,771.20 and has Vineet Gulati 2017.05.02 16:18 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh embezzled the stocks of the society. The petitioner has also not deposited

CRM No.M-14958 of 2017 -2the amount with the society.

Keeping in view the allegations, I find that the petitioner is required for custodial interrogation purposes. Otherwise also, in view the serious allegations regarding embezzlement against the present petitioner, no ground is made out for granting him the bail. Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
