CRM-M-11373-2022 Petitioner has preferred the instant petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C., for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.0007, dated 25.02.2022, registered under Sections 406, 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, at Police Station Women, District Patiala, Punjab. Vide order dated 27.04.2022, the petitioner was directed to join investigation.

CRM-M-11373-2022 -2It has been submitted by counsel for the petitioner that pursuant to the order dated 27.04.2022, the petitioner has joined the investigation. He has further submitted that the parties appeared before the Medication Centre, however, the matter could not be resolved as the parties could not arrive at any amicable settlement.

Learned counsel for the complainant has also submitted that though the parties appeared before the Mediation Centre but the mediation remained unsuccessful due to adamant attitude of the petitioner. Learned State counsel on instructions from HC Mander Singh endorsed the submissions made by counsel for the petitioner and submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and he is no more required for further investigation. He further submits that the complainant did not identify the recovered articles.

In view of the above, the interim order dated 27.04.2022, is made absolute subject to compliance of conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

Petition stands allowed.
