Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the substantial portion of the amount to the tune of Rs.34,54,000/- stands released in favour of the petitioner whereas the remaining amount shall be paid to him within 04 weeks from today.

In such circumstances, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition, however, in case the respondents fail to abide by their undertaking, the salary of the concerned officer to the extent of 1/3rd shall remain attached till compliance is made.
