Prayer in this petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in FIR No.186 dated 28.09.2020 registered under Sections 307, 34, 201 IPC (Section 302 IPC added later on) at Police Station Dharamkot, District Moga.

Learned State counsel submits that 25 witnesses, out of 34 have been examined and all the remaining are official witnesses who have been summoned for 12.10.2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the petition at this stage and for issuance of a direction to the trial Court to decide the case in a time bound manner.
