This petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS for directing to respondent No.4 not to harass the petitioners by calling them unnecessarily in the office in respect of the complaint submitted by respondent No. 5 vide No. 176/Reader to DRO, dated 07.02.2025 and No. 177/Reader to DRO dated 07.02.2025 (Annexure P-4).

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has preferred a representation/complaint dated 17.02.2025 (Annexure P-5) to respondent No.3- Deputy Commissioner, Malerkotla, District Malerkotla, Punjab against respondent No.5 but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.4-Senior Superintendent of Police, Malerkotla, District Malerkotla, Punjab to look into his representation/complaint and take appropriate steps at the earliest.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 7.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4-Senior Superintendent of Police, Malerkotla, District Malerkotla, Punjab to consider and decide the representation/complaint dated 17.02.2025 (Annexure P-5) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
