(ORAL) Present writ petition has been filed for directing respondent No.3 not to use the land adjoining the land of petitioner as a dumping ground which is contrary to the directions issued by the National Green Tribunal, New Delhi and further not to shift the carcass dumping ground (Hadda Rori) near the farm house of the petitioner, as the land comprised in Khasra No.84(1-12) is specifically earmarked for the purpose of Hadda Rori and the same has been recorded as Gair Mumkin Hadda Rori in the revenue record. Further prayer has been made for directing respondents No1 and 2 to take action on the notice of demand of justice dated 07.09.2022 (Annexure P-4) served by the petitioner as respondents No.1 and 2 are sitting tight over the matter and they have failed to take any action on the notice for demand of justice. On asking of Court, Mr. Navneet Singh, Sr. DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State. After hearing counsel for the parties and perusing the record, respondent No.3 i.e. Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Nihal Singh Wala, District Moga is directed to decide the notice dated 07.09.2023 (Annexure P-4) served by the petitioner expeditiously preferably within a period of four weeks from today in accordance with law.
