STATE OF HARYANA ....RESPONDENT
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL
Present:
Mr. Rajender Kumar, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Kapil Aggarwal, Addl. AG, Haryana.
**** ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL, J (ORAL) The petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No.281 dated 20.12.2017, under Sections 489-B and 489-C IPC and subsequently added Section 489-A IPC, registered at Police Station Cheeka, District Kaithal. A coordinate Bench of this Court, by the order dated 20.04.2018, had directed the petitioner to join the investigation as and when required and in the event of his arrest, he was ordered to be released on bail to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. Learned State counsel upon instructions from SI Kehar Singh, states that the petitioner had appeared before the investigating officer only on 09.11.2018 and thereafter despite the orders of this Court, the petitioner has not appeared before the Investigating Officer.
This Court had passed several orders on various dates directing the petitioner to appear before the Investigating Officer but he refused to do so. Consequently, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed. (ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL) JUDGE August 21, 2019 A.Kaundal Whether speaking/ reasoned :
