Relevant extract thereof reads as under:- "IMPLEMENTATION OF HON'BLE AFT (RB) CHANDIGARH AT CHANDIMANDIR ORDER DATED 21 FEB 2019 PASSED IN OA NO. 1048/2015 FILED BY NO. 3993365X EX NK (ACP-I) RAM KUMAR VS UOI AND OTHERS

1. Reference Service Pension PPO No.S/050894/2011 (ARMY) dt. 02 Jan, 2012.

2. Under the exercise of powers delegated vide Govt. of India Ministry of Defence letter No.MOD/IC/1027/32/AS(J)/6864/2006 dated 01 Sep., 2006, Adjutant General has accorded sanction for implementation of ibid order for grant of Disability Element of Pension to No. 3993365X Ex Nk (ACP-I) Ram Kumar @ 50% w.e.f. 25.06.2014. Arrears will carry interest @ 8% per annum as per order of the Hon'ble Tribunal. Amount already paid, to individual be adjusted accordingly. Necessary corrigendum PPO to be issued immediately.

3. PCDA (P), Prayagraj may work out the total amount involved and process the same for "Charged Expenditure" as per policy.

4. This letter issues with concurrence of the PIFA (Q&M) vide their UO No. 0100326P2600967 dated 25 June, 2026 and sanction of Adjutant General Vide note 35 dated 20 Feb., 2026 in case file No.C/100669/DOGRA/Inf-9."

2.1 Learned counsel for the respondent-Union of India, while referring to the aforesaid letter dated 25.06.2026, submits that in all probabilities, the arrears towards the Disability Element of pension shall be released to the petitioner, in terms of the order dated 21.02.2019 passed by the Armed Forces Tribunal, Chandigarh Bench, in OA No.1048/2015, within a period of two weeks from today.

Keeping in view the aforesaid submissions made by learned counsel for the respondent-Union of India, no further orders are required to

be passed in the present contempt petition and the same is, accordingly, disposed of.

All the pending application(s), if any, shall also stand closed.
