VIKRAM AGGARWAL, J.(Oral) The instant contempt petition alleges willful disobedience of order dated 19.05.2025 (Annexure P-1) passed in CWP-14441-2025, vide which the following directions were passed:- "5.
Accordingly, with the consent of the parties and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.4-Superintending Engineer, Canal and Dam Circle, Water Resources Department, Hoshiarpur, to decide the claim raised by the petitioners in the present writ petition by treating the same as a comprehensive representation and to pass a speaking and reasoned order thereupon in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and a copy of present petition along with accompanying Annexures."

Learned State counsel has produced a compliance report, as per which, speaking order dated 20.04.2026 (Annexure R-1) has been passed. A copy thereof has been furnished to learned counsel for the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of the same, the petitioners do not wish to press the instant petition, at this stage and shall, if so advised, avail all such remedies as shall be admissible in law against the said speaking order.

That being so, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court.

The contempt petition is accordingly disposed of. Rule stands discharged.
