(ORAL) The petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail under Section 482 BNSS, 2023 in case bearing FIR No.256 dated 28.10.2025 registered under Section 21 of NDPS Act (Section 29 of NDPS Act added later on) at Police Station Division No.8, Jalandhar.

None has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner. The learned State counsel on instructions admits the aforesaid fact and submits that the petitioner is no more required for further investigation in the case.

In view of aforesaid factual position, the interim order dated 17.02.2026 is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) BNSS. Petition stands disposed of.
